First I made a trip to Target and got these sandals. The brown straps are a faux leather and the front strap has embroidered detail. I got them on sale for $15.99. They have other patterns too. Check them out at Target.com!
Also at Target, I browsed the seasonal section and picked up some Easter Peeps. These limited edition Peeps come in a pack of three and are flavored! Here is Orange Creme and Vanilla Creme. They also have Strawberry Creme and Chocolate Dipped flavors available. (I did get the strawberry but I already ate them! The flavor was delicious though and I can't wait to try the others!)
I was looking at magazines at Barnes and Noble and I stumbled upon this one. It's called Company and it's from the UK! I was so intrigued. It's pretty small in size but the pages are jam packed with bright colors, beautiful models, fashion and beauty tips, and music suggestions. It's kind of a Nylon meets Teen Vogue style. Basically it was just a fun purchase and I'm enjoying looking through it. Check out their website at Company.com!
I went to Ulta yesterday and picked up two things. The first, Cover Girl's 3 in 1 foundation. I LOVE this stuff. I swear by this foundation. It has the best coverage but isn't thick and cakey. I'm in the shade Ivory 805. The second thing I got is a new product. It's Too Face's new Melted liquid lipstick in Melted Coral. I swatched this on my hand in fell in love with the color. (I am a coral freak! I love pinky orange lips for spring and summer.) It works like a stain, gives shine like a gloss, and the color of a lipstick. I am in love with this product and I'll probably go back to get other shades! You can get the foundation and lip stain at Ulta.com
Also at Ulta I received a few free Benefit samples. I got a small Stay Don't Stray, their eyeshadow primer, and their Creaseless Cream Shadow in RSVP. I have actually already tried both of these products but I never turn away a free sample! The eyeshadow primer works good, but I still prefer Urban Decay's primer above anything else. I will probably use this one for traveling. As for the shadow, I really like the formula of Benefit's cream shadows, but this color is very, very light. It would make a good base to use with any of the Naked Pallets from Urban Decay or for just a "barely there" daytime look. Look for the full sized primer or shadow at Ulta.com.
So that's my recent purchases of the last week! I hope this information was helpful and that you guys enjoyed it!
